Dr. Lisa Ring is the medical director and founder of Dermatological Treatment Center, now Dermatology STL which opened its doors in 1985. She has been in practice for 30 years. During that time she has developed a reputation for her very compassionate and thorough approach to patient care. She specializes in diagnosing and treating skin cancers, eczema, acne, rashes of all kinds, and challenging diagnoses.
Outside of the office, Dr. Ring has delivered multiple talks in her areas of expertise to other physicians, non-physician healthcare specialists and non-healthcare audiences. She has written several articles and been interviewed on educational television and radio shows.
Dr. Ring graduated from Washington University in St. Louis in 1976 as a member of the Phi Beta Kappa Honor Society with a Bachelor’s degree in Biology. In 1980 she received her M.D. from Washington University School of Medicine and subsequently completed 2 years of residency in their Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology. Dr. Ring was then a Dermatology Resident at Washington University School of Medicine from 1982-1985 and served as Chief Resident in Dermatology there in 1984-1985.
In past years Dr. Ring has served as the Chief of the Division of Dermatology at De Paul Health Center in Bridgeton, MO. She has been board certified in Dermatology since 1985 and a continuous fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology, The MO Dermatological Society and The St Louis Dermatological Society since that time.
Dr. Ring’s commitment to quality patient care has earned her the respect and loyalty of many of her colleagues and long-term patients.
